One day, I'm hoping @AMI's daily published stories will be as good as the internet's top stories. One day, I am hoping the internet's top stories will be as exciting to read as our favorite books. One day at a time.

Some of my favorite books are Animal Farm, Confessions of an Economic Hitman, Art of War, Nickel and Dimed, The Teachings of Don Juan, Slouching Towards Bethlehem, A Coney Island of the Mind, Invisible Man, Where the Wild Things Are, Natural Reality and Abstract Reality, Freakonomics, On the Road, Diary of Anne Frank, The Catcher in the Rye, House of Leaves, Blue Ocean Strategy, Of Mice and Men, Old Man and the Sea, Surrealist Manifesto, The Autograph Man, Notes from Underground, All Harry Potters, An American Dream, Ham on Rye, Post Office, Good to Great, Perks of Being a Wallflower, The General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money, Heart of Darkness, Consider the Lobster, Fight Club, Autobiography of Malcolm X, A Room of One's Own, God Bless You Mr. Rosewater, End Zone, and some others but lately I read more on the screen :-/ The screen

    I write

Writing is work, and after grinding out the bulk of the work, I can occasionally reach the point where I write for pleasure and honestly have no idea what the hell is going on. It's great. Lately, the work's been newsletters, interviews, and top of mind. Beyond the daily practice, I have unfinished memoir about my grandfather's WWII letters, an unfinished novel loosely based on TIn Tin's political impact and always thought if all my notebooks were put together in just the right away, there could be something readable there. As is life, enjoyable when unfinished.
